Hi, i found 2 power supplys and im wondering which of the two are better.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817371009

In case you cant see the link, they are the

CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX
and
Antec TPQ-850

They cost the same and the antec one is modular. but it has 4 12v rails while the corsair has 1 12v rail. What do you guys think is better? :sol:

They're both very good choices.
Pick the one you want in your system.

Sure you can't get by with the Antec True Blue 750 or the Corsair 750TX?

Hold the phone!
The 750W PSUs are far more power than you'll need for that system even if you do upgrade the video cards.

Another really hard call. Both are excellent units. True Power New has some modular cables that might make for a cleaner inside case look.

The True Power New Blue should cost $10 MORE than the True Power New 750 standard - but its $20 less at the moment

And the True Power New 750 has an 80Plus Bronze rating while the Corsair is just 80Plus.
Not that it means anything much to you except maybe some bragging rights.

The reviewers @ PC Perspective liked the True Power New 750 a lot.

Is that with a 110 volt input or the more efficient 220 volt input? Because if it is based on 220 volt inputs, the Corsair is 82%, 86%, 85% which makes it 80Plus Bronze - even if they do not advertise it.

But they are both excellent PSU's.

Subcribers can use this code "EMCLXNX33" to get the standard for $90.

That's an excellent value and it's still valid today.
