Hi all,

Im in need of a PSU and have been out of the loop for a while...so if any of you would be so generous, could you please recommend a ATX PSU for me that is around $80 bucks 20+4 pin and is modular? I dont want to end up picking something that is not reliable and overpriced.

So far im looking at these three... i know 500w its probably over kill but ill let you guy tell me your thoughts on that...

Frys has an antec basiq 550w modular cable with up to 25 amps on 3 12v rails for only $29.99 which ends today. A super buy.

This is all you need http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817139003 single 33A 12v rail.

The 550 has a 41A 12v rail http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817139004 but is $25 more.

That 450 is fine for your system as is. If you will upgrade to more HDDs and a more powerful GFX card sometime soon go for the 550. Corsair seems to be the best PSU for the buck right now.

Ditto the Corsair CMPSU-450VX:

... not modular, but worth every penny: $55 after MIR.

This Corsair CMPSU-520HX is modular:

$90 after MIR.

Their "HX" versions are the best they make,
which is reflected in the market prices.
