Hi everyone, as the title states, i'v got a Phenom 965be o.c'd to 4.0ghz with the NB frequency at 2649Mhz. The heatsink im using is Thermalright Silver Arrow with Thermalright Chill Factor 3. As usual, everything was running wicked up until week/week an a half ago when the temps started to rise slowly but gradually. Today, was playing Black Ops Online and ran PC Probe when the alert noise can on with the SB Temp at 52 degrees, NB 55degrees and the cpu at 52degrees. Previously my cpu never got above 48degrees whilst gaming.
I have reapplied the thermal paste, cleaned evrything out etc. Only thing I have changed is my graphic card, had 2x HD4870x2 (crossfire X) now running GTX 480.

PLEASE could someone shed some light as this would much appreciated.

Iv got it overclocked to 4ghz as mentioned in my post so obviously I can't run it at stock voltage and for an 4ghz o.c, iv got it very good with that voltage I'm applying

I read your post. I said UPGRADE your fan's. Sorry if you have trouble with reading comprehension.

Ok, so now you know what the problem is.

Obviously its NOT very good, if it's overheating now is it? :hello:

THANKYOU Finally a decent reply.
No the room is not air conditioned and when I take the side door off thr CPU is still hitting 50-52degrees, NB 54degrees and SB 52degreed whilst playing black ops online?
Just can't figure it out. May be it is cuz off summer? Room temp is roughly 22-25degrees
