I want a good mobo that's gonna last a while and some ram I'd ideally wouldn't have to change until i trash the whole set. Since it's for gaming I figured the i7 860 would be the best choice (without going with insane prices) of all i7's due to it's better single/dual core turbo-modes.
Figuring I'm probably going to want to overclock a bit within a year, i'll also need a better CPU heatsink+fan. I checked out a bunch of coolermaster products and can't really make up my mind. The rest of the components should be fine for a while heat wise since the aluminum case is really cool and there's a lot of vent.
Any comments/incompatibilities/ideas greatly appreciated. (and Merry Christmas!)
