Go to Start \ Run \ and type: "devmgmt.msc" (no quotes) and hit Enter \ right click on the Wireless Network Adapter \ Properties \ Advanced tab \ select Network Address \ to the right you should see 'Absent' is marked,.. change your selection to 'Value' and type any alphanumeric combination for example: A1B2C3D4E5F6 to complete a total of 12 digits... Accept the change and close the dialog box... your screen may flicker once as it disables the network connection and restores it... wait a minute and go back following the same steps, and change your selection to Absent, Accept and exit the dialog box... Your screen may flicker again and your Wireless connection should now be restored to normal functionallity.
