Amd phenom 9500 on m2r32-mvp?

yeah,i am planning on a cpu upgrade,from amd 64 x2 4200+ to amd phenom 9500 x4,and i don't know if my motherboard is compatible with the phenom upgrade,please help me with some link's or something!!!!

For future reference, you should always check out your manufacturer's (in this case ASUS) support web page for CPU support to see what it supports before you upgrade

Anyway just use the drop down boxes and you will see that your board supports up to a 9950. You will need at least BIOS version 1009, so if you have anything earlier, or your just not sure, go to the ASUS support page and download the latest BIOS for your motherboard. If you try to put the 9500 in without having a BIOS that supports it, your board probably will not even POST.
