I have a q6600 and I want to upgrade my cpu, but I dont want to drop in a ton of money into a new mobo and ram etc. I currently have a p5n32-e Sli mobo and want to know if 1. It's worth it going from the q6600 to q9550 2. if it will work with my mobo.

Check on the Asus website for compatibility as the 680i chipset does not play well with 45nm Quads.
