I build my new pc and I have an AMD Phenom II X4 955.The socket of this CPU is AM3,but CPUz shows AM2+ socket.what should I do to solve this problem?Can updating BIOS solve this annoying problem?my motherboard is MSI 790FX-GD70 .Any help is highly appreciated

Not really important, you know it's AM3.
It's a common issue with CPU-Z, wait for a newer version.

^+1. It's the same to me, but the CPU is AM3 and your board too. The problem is that the CPU-z don't have the lasted sockets.

I have same mobo and processor, same thing happens. Just ignore it its not going to affect anything

And I got E5300 set @1.35V, Bios shows 1.31 and CPUZ shows 1.84V
