I have a Fry's/GQ5140 pc. Now I am having issues will my memory upgrade. I am trying to install Corsair Model# TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX, which is a 2 x 1 GB DDR2 800. My computer powers up, but does not boot. I ensured the sticks are seated properly. Any ideas? Both corsair and ECS claim to support the memory.

set the voltage for the ram in bios to what corsair says, assuming they are the only modules in the board.

Thanks. The voltage on the RAM is 1.80v. The lowest on the bios is 1.84v.

In performance mode those chips should be given 2.1v according to Corsair.

The 945GZT-M (v1.0) provides 2 DIMM sockets using Dual Channel 240-pin DDR2 with a total capacity of up to 2GB-32bit. You can install only DDR2 400/533MHz Memory.
