Im starting to dabble into overclocking and ive been reading a few guides and what not. The basic idea seems pretty simple but some of the terms used in the guides are different from what my bios shows me.
For instance, the guides are mostly referring to the CPU clock as fsb x the multiplyer but in my bios all it shows for what the FSB setting would be is
sorry for the sideways pic
Since my multiplier is 11, do i enter the FSB speed that is going to multiplied? or do i enter the actual (QDR?) speed that i went to get out of the processor eg. 3.2ghz
Same question for my memory. I have PC6400 ddr2 800mhz memory so do i enter in 800mhz or 400 mhz because its 400x2 = ddr2 800?
