Choosing mother boards

I'm looking for a mother board to fit a multimedia tower that will fit a pent. 4 but will upgrade and possibly overclock. I'm a beginner so for the sake of tech wiz nerves i'd do well with literature. Even though i'm a beginner i have a thorough tech background and learn quickly.
if any one has an answer in specific i have 4expansion bays and 6or8 expansion slots
