What is the best,because a friend of mine wants to give me his old procesor and i want to buy a new one(it the box)and i dont know what do do,tell me who is the best.

Neither is great, honestly. You'd be better off with a new CPU if you can.

I know,but im buliding an sistem for my brother who plays only source engine based games,and i had every kind of processonr(excluding i5)in my hand and i know that a low-medium procesor in these days for source based games is the P4 or the Core2Duo

The Core 2 Duo will give your system a bigger lifespan.
The P4 is too old.
