Gaming PC -About to purchase. Final thoughts?

Hey all, finally about to dip into purchasing the parts for my new PC. Thought I would give everyone a look to see if anything should be changed before I take the plunge. I'm fairly happy with it. Went $100 over my limit but it was flexible. Let me know of any suggestions :) This all comes to $1800 AU ($1450 US).

  2. Hi, thanks a lot for the suggestions. But why these over the v8? Thanks :)
  3. ^
    1. Cogage - Cheaper and its performance is as good as the V8
    2. Scythe - $10 cheaper and performs as good or better than the V8...
    3. Pro Mega - These are like I said the best i7 cooler out there...But it is huge...
    4. TRUE - WIll perform better than the V8...

But if you are not in for a very high overclock (above 3.6GHz) then the V8 is more than suffice...
  4. Thanks a lot mate :) Pro mega should fit in my rig right?
  5. Yes that HAF Full tower would not have much trouble fitting in the Pro Mega...

Here are a few reviews of that CPU cooler...

But you should check out this review...And then decide which one you are going to go with...

  6. Going by that review you'd have to go for the Scythe Mugen wouldn't you? Cheapest of the lot and came in second place. Sounds pretty good to me :)
  7. Yes...
That is why I had linked that article and let you decide...
