ASUS GTX 275 vs ASUS 4890 TOP

Hi,

ASUS GTX 275 vs ASUS 4890 TOP

Which one would you take? The benchmark are given a small edge to the GTX275, but I m not convince...

I m running on:

MB ASUS P5LD2 (no SLI support)
Intel core 2 duo q6600 2.4ghz (will OC to 3.0ghz)
RAM = 2 x 2 gigs corsair xms 5-5-5-18 800 mhz
Power Supply = Corsair 750W - 60A
Running Vista 64
Using a 22'' Samsung screen

I have a 275 but I would have to say that if you are looking to save money and have a lifetime warranty go with the XFX 4890....Unless you go with a BFG 275...

Would the ASUS TOP be better for overclocking purpose?

IMO the ASUS is a very good overclocker, the 275 is not a bad overclocker either but the 4890 has a slight advantage over the 275 as far as price to performance ratio goes.....

My pleasure......and remember to take warranties into consideration when you buy a new GPU....unless you dont mind tossing out / upgrading your GPU every 3 years....
