Is this possible with a external HD

Ok long story short i have a western digital External usb hard drive which is 500GB and im wondering since my Internal Hd isn't that big i'm wondering if i could just install my steam games to my external HD and run them that way so it doesn't take up space on my internal HD.

if i make a Folder on my External HD called steam and then install all my games to that folder would that work?

With the capability of transferring the games from computer to computer? Usually games manufacturers frown on this. It might work on just one computer.

Yes, this can work. However, you should be aware that the typical data transfer speed between a mobo and a USB drive is less than half the speed of an internal SATA drive, so your game MIGHT be a bit laggy when you do this.
