New Build From 478 AGP

Have an older P4 Hyperthread-AGP 8x-looking to go to 775 platform, but stay reasonable.
Been a bit since I built new rig, used to upgrade every few months. Probably built 60+ system...ok there
Just never got around to build until now. Intel mobo's been rock solid.

Already have Thermaltake X aluminum full tower case. Large fan and fan controller w/temp. NIB
One review stated perf. was so-so and being Nvidia chip how would it perform using AT card?

why do you want to go for a lga775 build? amd offers a lot of bang for buck.. what is your budget? maybe we can help you better with that.

also, you picked out the asus p5n which uses the nforce nb chipset (to use for sli).. hwoever, you picked out the radeon 5750 rendering that chipset kinda useless? if you really wanted to get a lga775 board with a ati card, you can just get a cheap p45 board (since ur not going to crossfire)..

all of that is useless info if you want to go for an amd build though..

so we need from you:
-budget
-do you really need to stick to intel lga775? would rather have you go for a lower amd am3+ build for future upgradability

Didn't get a chance to research much on mobo.
Crysis no-new games yes..
I've built several AMD platforms, just not dual or quad yet.

Important compat. with Win 7 (later like XP Pro)-VC now is older GeForce FX5600 limited to say the least..=^(

AMD no way I want to see competition turn into the Walm.rt factor. I'll call software company seems issue many not be problem in latest releases, been 4 years ago.
