hi need help using this mobo.

so i tried overclocking my processor and i got it to 3.4GHz. tested with prime95 (3 hours of Blend test) and it was stable.

then i decided to push a little further, i tried 3.5GHz.. results were Blue Screen Of Death!

i changed the CPU Vcore to +100mV and also tried +150mV still not stable. still BSOD.

i even noticed that even if i change the CPU Vcore to +150mV. my CPU Voltage readings are still at STOCK voltage. (1.264V).

wth is wrong with this board?

i also flashed the latest BIOS already. but i cant seem to get the CPU Vcore to work properly. its still at STOCK voltage even changing it.

really need your guys help.

overclocking a 1333MHz CPU in a G41 Chipset mobo is a pain in the butt. i think G41 has a 343 or 350MHz FSB wall. did you try messing with the CPU voltage? can you tell me your settings?

lucky me cause i have a 1066MHz FSB CPU that has a lot of room for overclocking in this kind of motherboard.

as of now my fsb = 360
and my multiplier is = x8
and my my voltae = +150 but stil the VID = 1.2875

and everything is in auto mode

beyond 360 that will be = to BSOD or not booting at all

and it realy pain in the as overclocking q8400 to this motherboard hahaha

did you try disabling all of the power saving features? (C1E Enhanced Halt State, CPU EIST etc.)

yeah the best way to overclock that chip is to use a P45/P35 motherboard.

did you try adding voltage on the vcore? and disable auto PSI.
