Is my computer going to be any good?

motherboard - Gigabyte P31-DS3L LGA775, DDR2, SATA2, ATX

Processor - Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 2.5GHz LGA775 Processor-Retail

gpu - geforce 9800 gt 512mb

ram - Kingston HyperX 2Gb (2x1Gb) DDR2 800MHz Dual Chan Kit

hard drive - 320Gb W. Digital Caviar SE 7200Rpm 16Mb Cache SATA II HDD

dvd drive - Samsung SH-S223Q 22x DVD+/-R SATA LightScribe Writer

case - Galaxy III Black Gaming Case, Window,450W,PSU, Bubble Lights

this is first time build so any advice would be great!
Am i missing anything?

Looks fine other than I would go with 4 gigs of RAM.

You may want to look at a better power supply. The ones you get with the case are often suspect....ie cheap junk.

Go cheap on the case if you want, but get a very good quality psu. You don't want the possibility of a psu issue, especially for a first build.
Corsair, Seasonic, PC P&C, and Antec are good units to start with. FSP if you really have to be cheap.

get 4gb, ram is cheap.

Otherwise good.

I'd try to get a GTS 250 or an HD4850, other than that looks solid. Oh, yeah, 4GB RAM.

I think it would be good if you could tell us what are your expectations and budget to make sure the recommendations go the right way.

The 4GB would be a generic good improvement.
