My pc is a gateway FX6800-01e and after a recent system restore, i've been recieving issues with all of my video games, movies that i choose to watch in fullscreen, and whenever i try to do a hardware check or w/e its called.
Thankfully THIS time the problem occured windows vista actually found a problem with this. This is all the information I have to come by for this but I think it should be a big help. Heres the error message. keep in mind that my screen blacks out and says out of range, not a blue screen;

CLEARLY under files that help describe the problem theres a file there that easily doesnt belong with the other two. Ive got a very, very strong feeling that that one file is the source of this monitor issue. Now i ask you. WHAT IS MINIDUMP AND HOW DO I SAFELY DESTROY THIS DEMON!?

I think the virus might be associated with my hardware acceleration due to the fact it only occurs when i play video games and when i watch movies in fullscreen. Now I have a question that might further discover whats wrong.
Should I be able to set hardware acceleration to whatever i want? because It keeps saying that im not allowed to access it.
