65" 1080i crt hdtv as pc gaming monitor?

Hi All,

So my old tv finally died on me and i have a very limited budget. My plan is to by a used 65" hdtv to replace it. i'm specifically looking at the following model Mitsubishi WS-65313. you can find specs here http://www4.dealtime.com/xPF-Mitsubishi-WS-65313

My question is, will this tv work with a pc? if so what resolution should my graphics card support? it has a dvi input so I'm guessing thats a good start but my understanding is that crt tvs dont have a native resolution. does anyone have a setup like this?

Can't be a very tight budget if you're looking at 65" TVs...

However, you're probably going to want one that supports 1080p (not 1080i).

actually used 65"1080i TVs can be had for about $3oo bucks on craigslist. granted the thing weighs 350lbs and is not sleek looking, but i consider that a pretty good bargain. so 1080i won't work for pc gaming?
