Best ddr3 for amd Black Edition

I do a lot of video editing and am building Gigagite MA790GPT-UD3H w/AMD 955 Black Edition C3 stepping; would like to know best brand ddr3 1600 dual channel (2x2gb) for speed and reliability. I notice some are saying to get OCZ black edition but version has a bad rap on eggs at Newegg (only 60% 5 eggs, 20%1 egg). Has anyone had any success with G.Skill Ripjaws Series? I notice the timing is a little looser on G.Skill (9,9,9,24,2N @1.5v). than the OCZ is 7,7,7,18, ? @1.88v.
Newegg says OCZ black edition is out of stock and they don't know if they are going to get any in. They may have stopped making it.

The best way to choose the proper RAM is to first consult your motherboard's QVL (qualified vendor list), which lists all the RAM Gigabyte has bothered actually testing with the MA790GPT-UD3H. Next, once you've narrowed down your list of several options, check customer reviews.

Since you're doing video editing, I would prefer stability over speed, so keep that in mind.
