Recommend me a Nvidia card around $100

Hi,

I bought the ATI sapphire 4830 card a few days ago. Long story short it turned out to be a dead card. So now I have to return it and wait to get a new one form tigerdirect.

Im not to impressed by this so ive decided to go with a nvidia based model.

My ASUS M3N78 Pro motherboard is based on Nvidia so I would like to find the best Nvidia based card I can get for around the same price as the 4830.

I would like it to have a HDMI port if possible so I can plug it directly into my TV and have sound.

for $100 i would look at the 4850. they are close to there now and should out perform the 9800gt in most games especially if you overclock. if you really prefer here is a gts250 for $109.99

it will perform much better than a 9800gt. look around when you order though as a 9800gtx is pretty much the same thing and you might be able to find one slightly cheaper (maybe100).

Dunno about ECS though, they are known for cheaper quality it seems.

i second the 9800gt. with that mobo u can also sli another one which will give u much better performance

if u can spend a little little bit more, like 130, than the gts 250 / 9800GTX+ (both the same card) as those are definitely worth the money, more so than the 9800gt
