Question: Just curious if i did a good job...this is my first build ever. Would love your input and suggestions.

USE: mainly recording music (i have m-audio interface) and gaming, web browsing, audio etc...

Budget: around 900ish w/ monitor. I already have keyboard, mouse, and speakers


All the CD/DVD burners are sold out on newegg i think. So that is why i dont' have one...

You are missing a power supply & CPU cooler in your build. Everything else looks good with your build.

And is the cooler that comes w/ the cpu not good? if so, what should i get?

PSU is a good choice.

If you don't plan to overclock than the fan that comes with the CPU is fine. If you plan to overclock, get the XIGMATEK Dark Knight S1283V or something along those lines.
