"1-2 frames per second is smaller than most reviews margin of error. Having an extra 1Gb of video ram for future resolutions/games I think out weighs the 1-2 fps."

Might be something in what this person say?

there aren't many games that on 1080p can go past 1GB of video memory (GTA IV comes to mind though)

well, if the 2GB is only a little more expensive say like kr 250 more, then go for it, otherwise i don't think it would be worth it

i would say, assuming there is a difference in price... 1GB if you have no plans of 2x4890 in the future. but, if you plan to add a second card at some point, id wager you will take advantage of that 2gb ram before the computers life is over.

The 2gb version consumes less power..just another thing to look at.

Someone say that 2 GB is slower, did I hear right? Would you bought the 2 GB if it was 15 USD more exspensive? (That's the price in my country)

in some instances from the benchmark i saw yes. I dont think 15 is a bad investment for the future of your videocard.

So you mean that you would go for the 1 gb card if the 2 gb card cost the same? Please try to make some opinions on why you choose the 1 gb, since as I said, am stuck, and telling me "Choose that" without any reason make me more confused.

if you are to buy a new graphic card i would strongly reccomend the PowerColor Radeon 4890 1gb. It's fast and doesnt make too much noise. My friend have one and i'm very impressed by it, plus PC GAMER sweden gave it a 93% review wich is the highest in 2years from them

but if you want more memory but a slower card you shouldn't hesitate to buy the 2gb verision if the price difference is that small. The difference of clock speed is 30mhz to the 1gb favor

I didn't get that, you say that the 2 GB is slower. But you also say that I should go for the 2 GB? I don't understand. :)

... what i'm saying is that the 2gb have double the memory wich is good. But it also have a 30mhz slowe clock time wich isnt very much.

If you want alot of memory choose the 2gb
If you want a faster card choose the 1gb

What would you choosed? You just said yourself that 30 mhz isn't very much, then you say go 1 gb if you want faster, but you say that 30mhz is nothing. xD

Would you go with 1 GB extra for futher prof (for new games) or a little faster card?
