Not very impressive i was hoping for much more. Think it will drop the prices of the 1gb models?

I didnt see any use for it really but i am noob when it comes to super techy mumbo jumbo.

I did see that it used less power. But alot of the benchmarks seemed liked it was on par, tiny bit above or just below the 1gb version.

The power consumption alone is kinda making wanna get it.

I plan to run 2 in crossfire.

Is it worth the $40 extra for the 2gb or should i just get the 1gb and maybe those prices will drop with the release of 2g.

no games take advantage of it yet, except gta could use a lil more than 1 gig.

however, games will soon. granted, a single 4890 might be a little bit unbalanced with 2 gigs, as, when a game uses 2 gigs a 4890 will probably be slightly slow. what about 2x4890 tho. what about 3x4890. the gpu power would be there for the upcoming games, but sadly.. if you only had 1 gb of ram, the ram would be shy.

Choices choices, I wouldnt mind buying the 2gb version and then getting a second one in a couple more weeks.

What would you do if you where in my rig?

Right on i will probly do the same. But if the prices drop on the 1g a good amount i might get 2 of those and then wait for the dx11 cards to come out.
