Hi guys,

I've just started a business and it has quickly taken over a good chunk of my older (3 years) system (2.8gz, 2gig ram, 3 hardrives-200 each).

I'm starting to get scared that I might lose data---especially with the lightning storms and potential for brownouts.

If I were to build a new computer could I throw together something that could have some sort of built in auto-copy from internal hard drive to internal hard drive and then have an external hard drive backing up just for fun?? then could I do this will a top of the line gaming machine??

Primarily this will be used for business (single computer needed only at this time) but I would like to chill out with maybe some fallout 3 when I'm not hard at work.

where should I start??

Thanks:)

Setting up RAID 1 will mirror your internal drives. I dont know about external.

As far as a gaming system goes, the sky is the limit. It really depends on how much you want to spend.
