How common is PC3000 DDR RAM? No, it's not a typo.

I've heard of PC3200, and PC2700. But I have never heard of PC3000 before. It's got heatspreaders on it, is it for overclocking and they just didn't care about the speed since it's going to be changed anyway?

Maybe they just kept typing the wrong speed, but it even says
‚ó¶Operates at speeds up to 370MHz

Kingston Technology - HyperX 512MB PC3000 DDR DIMM Memory

How strange? Or is this common?

Pc3000 isn't too common. But if it works, use it. Cpuid will clock it at about half the 370 fsb speed, placing it at about 185 fsb.

Guess it was the 'performance overclocking' memory of the day when 333Mhz or PC2700 was the fastest speed available?
