PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Speakers, Mouse, Keyboard, OS

PARTS PREFERENCES: 23" Monitor, and AMD processor (unless a better i7 is found)

OVERCLOCKING: No, SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe in the future

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I'm looking to build a gaming rig at approx $1000. I will need almost everything. I've been checking this site a lot for others' builds as well as researching my own and the following is what I came up. Let me know what you guys think, I'm open to all suggestions for performance improvements. The only part here that I would like to keep (unless you guys find better) is the monitor I chose. Thanks!!

Looks good.

The PSU is plenty of power for CF, the only thing is that it has 2 PCIe connectors. You would probably be better off not having to use adapters. The Truepower New 650 has 4, or else you could go with a 750W such as Corsair TX750 or HX750.

Pioneer, Samsung & LG drives are good.
