Hey guys,
My Specs:

Intel C2D E7200 @2.53GHz w/ stock CPU fan
Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L
4GB G.SKILL PC2 6400
XFX Geforce 8800GT
WD 500GB HDD (Recently installed)
Seagate 250GB HDD
Samsung CD/DVD Burner/Reader
Corsair 450VX PSU
Centurion 5 Case

Built around a year ago.

Recently, my mouse(old Razer Diamondback USB) has been freezing randomly. I've tried reinstalling drivers, old drivers, changing to different USB ports, etc. Nothing.. It sometimes makes the USB disconnect, reconnect sound. Is the motherboard the problem? I've gotten 2 BSOD's today, one error code 1e and 3b while the mouse was frozen.

Secondly, ever since I built it, my PC has been making a noise, another person on another forum describes the same problem I'm having : http://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=5036
I learned to ignore it, but lately, it's been getting worse, I can hear it even when idle. I also suspect that it could be the video card. As I was installing new drivers, during the time where I had no drivers installed, it was silent. Can't hear anything when playing games as well.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

don't worry to much then, its known that silicon will sometimes make noises when enough power is going though it. i've known intels P4 series to be most prone to it
