Bare drive worth it

Hi.

I noticed this nice drive on newegg that I'm considering for my Win 7 build.

WD Caviar Black 500 GB:

It's listed as a "bare drive" and my understanding is that it comes with NO cable, screws, etc. Is it better to go to say "Best Buy" and buy a 500gb drive that includes the cable and screws?

The motherboard and power supply normally come with the cables you'll need, and the computer case normally comes with the screws.

thanks Yes, I'm gonna be getting the Asus P8P67, so I'd assume that has SATA cables and I've got the screws.

Correct... The motherboard will have the necessary SATA cable for your hard drive, as well as a DVD device.
