After having had to re-install XP Home, I cannot use my Snapscan 1212u scanner anymore. I downloaded and installed the latest driver (using Windows Update), as well as the latest version of Scanwise.
I can usually get as far as the preview, but trying an actual scan gets me a "Some components are missing. Please reinstall the application with the correct scanner." error message.
I occasionaly get "The instruction at "OxOOa6a2c7" referenced memory at "0x00000008". The memory could not be "read"." too.
A Scanwise message also appears:
Scanning ...
Stopped by user.
Please wait...

I tried uninstalling and re-installing both the driver and software, with and without the scanner plugged in, but the problem persist.

Before re-installing XP the scanner was working fine (even though I hadn't used it for a few weeks).

I would really appreciate any help as I have a webdesign job that requires scans on hold, and if I cannot find a solution I will have to buy another scanner. :(

Thanks in advance,

ddlooping :)
