Recently , I purchased asus 9800gt , installed on MSI P43 NEO3 , CPU is intel e7400. When I run 3dmark06, I find somethingstrange. It gets only about 7000 3dmarks (CPU marks are normal, drivers are ok , default setting) . And 3dmark vantage only gets about 4000 in performace mode. That's really bad, since I found 9800gt will get over 10000 in 3dmark06 and about 5000 in vantage. I don't know where the problem is. :sweat:

I suspect there's something wrong with 9800gt's bios , but unluckily, no suitable bios in asus website. :(

how does it actually perform in games?

Post a GPU-Z and CPUZ screenshot? Are you sure the BIOS settings are correct for your CPU?

even in windows vista experience index , this card get only 5.6 in d3d

your GPU-Z numbers are all normal (checked it with my asus 9800GT), does it give you FPS within range in games?
