What is the difference between the Western Digital SATA 6Gbs and the Western Digital SATA-300? They are both the same price but I would like the more efficient and faster one.

Thanks!

No practical difference for hard drives. SATA 6GBit/sec has twice the theoretical transfer rate of SATA 3Gbit/sec, but the real-life transfer rate is limited to much, much slower than that anyway by the data density and rotation rate of the drive's platters.
