Running multiple desktop pics

hi i was wondering if there was any sort of software like the nvidia suite but will work with all types of cards. the reason im asking is because i had a extra radeon card laying around as well as a spare lcd monitor, so i but them in my machine and now im running three monitors on an nvidia and ati card. the problem is that the spare one is running 1024x768 (17") and the others are 1920x1080 (23") and no backgrounds look right. i want to be able to put separate backgrounds on each monitor and do the other cool effects that the ati and nvidia software can do; like make window transparent when dragging.
