Which CPU is better, it's only £6 difference.

Athlon 64 X2 6000 or Phenom II X2 545

Just for general PC usage, no games really.

QUAD core. Better at general usage than games. Cooler than 6000.
Much better choice.

That's a good suggestion, but judging by the currency he listed he doesn't live in the us...so may be more expensive where he is at.

If available, the difference will be proportional. Sorry, BUT can you cancel your order?
We have not even discussed whether the Propus will for sure work in your system...
