+1. Imo, given DDR2 prices are the same as DDR3 I'd go with the DDR3 route (AM3/LGA1156/1366).

Yeah, I'd say ddr3 is the way to go. It is much faster at stock speeds, and it opens up the door to triple channel platforms. Plus, the price is pretty darn close to ddr2 these days, and the latency issues are
