Good but silent Cpu cooler

hey guys im looking to make some upgrades in my computer and i want to get a new cpu cooler.

I dont really know which one to get because i don't anything about cpu coolers.

the only think im looking at is for the cooler to be very silent and still preform well.

If you guys know any really good cooler please let me know.

what is your budget? are you planning to overclock? if you're looking for a good price/performer cooler, this is my recommendation

they are also pretty quiet. specially if you have a motherboard that supports Smart Fan function.
