Issues with the A8n-sli deluxe

Hey all, to make a short story long my dad got a new top of the line could run NASA new computer for Christmas. We were going to take the old computer and make it my mothers but we needed to wipe it first. Well due to my lack of knowledge on how to load windows 7 with Raid enabled (i know now what to do). i did everything i could think of to unload the raid. i set bios to manual, reset cmos and then i removed the cmos battery. Well this last thing did it, after i removed the battery the computer would no longer get past the initial load page. It boots up and then freezes on the screen that will let me go to Bios. i hit del to go into bios and it freezes still. I haven't the slightest on how to fix this and am beyond frustration. any help or advice would be much appreciated!
