So I have a issue with all media players causing lines in my media (and it flickers the lines so very annoying)

I have the same issue in games but v-sync solves this issue on games. (FPS is above 100FPS in AA3/CS and so it jumps/causes the issue)

My system specs
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 400x8- 3.2ghz
XFX GTX 260 868mb 192 Core
2x2GB G-skill PC6400 DDR2 800
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R LGA 775 Intel P45
TX750w Corsair PSU
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS
Windows Vista Ultimate x64
Antec 900 Case
Logitech S-220 Speakers

Here is as screenshot of the issue. NOW this happens inside the player (if I make it smaller it wont do it on my desktop)

So I thought v-sync issue so I enabled it. Didn't help here are my current settings for nvidia.

The orange temp = GTX and the other 4 are my quad temps idle.

Real Media Player will do it but at the bottom (very bottom)

I have the newest k-lite codec pack and that screenshot was from a DVD from my collection that I turned into a ISO on my PC.

I have tried 182 drivers and currently using the newest 186 drivers (yet to try 190.38)

Anyone have clues as to why this is happening? I would appreciate any help at all thank you.

This sounds like a video interlace problem. Before looking at your software I'd look at you equipment. What kind of cable are you using to connect to the tv? Sometimes this can be solved by using a DVI to HDMI cable instead of the component hook up.

Well this is on my monitor that is doing it.

I have not even hooked up my TV to my PC yet waiting on my cables. I was using a coax set up but now that I got a LCD changing cables.

I've never been very good at that whole reading comprehension thing. Is your video player using deblocking and deinterlace? If you need to vsync your games then you should make sure these are on. If you using the MPC that came with K-lite i think they're off by default, the same with a lot of other players.

How exactly would I check that in windows media player? Also on MPC I found deinterlace but can't find deblocking. I also am running the "tear test" Ctrl+T seems to point the tears out rather quickly.
