Hi, I'm wondering if replacing my stock heat spreaders on my G.Skill ram with an aftermarket solution will void its warranty? I've looked all over the place for an answer but I only get search results back for VGA Cooling.

I looked on G.Skill's site and found the following:

Warranty Exclusions
Products with missing or defaced serial numbers
Products damaged by environmental factors, which include oxidation and/or damages caused by natural disasters
Physical Damages which include, but not limited to, the following:

Unauthorized modifications
Misuse, neglect or improper assembly
Transport damages due to improper packaging or carrier
Burns resulting from faulty or failed electric power
Missing/bent pins

Does anyone know if putting on an aftermarket cooling device to my memory fall under "Unauthorized modifications"?
