P.S been getting random PC lockups with no BSOD "running vista premuim 32bit" always when playing games. they freeze with sound loops or crackling, keyboard shuts down forcing me to reset

I wanna know about these as well, cause a computer my parents want to buy for me cause they won't let me build a computer yet, has one of those PSU's.

You say 20A per rail, but not how many rails. I don't trust it just given the name! Can't find a 500W on their website. got a link?

I know, it does sound a bit fishy.

It does sound like your PSU is starving your system of power.
My guess is that the extra power draw during gaming is above what your cheap PSU is capable of delivering.
I would recommend upgrading to a 500w+ Corsair, Seasonic, PCP&C or Antec Earthwatts PSU.

Well i took out my Creative XtremeGamer and things have speeded up "before shutdown took 5 min and i mean 5min" so it leaves 2 things soundcard is knackered or PSU wasn't strong enough

Graphics card make recommends a minimum of 25A per rail for run properly so in other words i have just answered my own question.
iCute 500W is not powerfull enough run my setup
