Copper heatsink leak?

Has anyone ever had a leak in a copper heat sink? I tried searching but couldnt find an exact answer to what exactly is in them. I had a Northbridge cooler that seems to have leaked down, and got onto my GPU. I have no way of testing it since I'm rebuilding my computer, would the fluid damage my graphics card? Doesnt look like much damage but its almost an oily substance and is only on the topside of my card.

The fluid is a high thermal coefficient oil to help heat transfer.

Clean away as much, if not all, traces of it on your GPU. Most oils are non-conductive, but don't take any chances. Use alcohol swabs to wipe away the oil.
