will overclocking make us to see noticable performance increase in games..because if a cpu is overclocked its warranty is void so his cpu is in danger ..is overclock is that much necessary for gaming

Ok, if you ever intend to overclock, or think about it, you will want the 2500k, the 'K' is the important part there :p
you wont 'need' to overclock to play most games decently, so its your call,
if you dont think you'll ever do it, get the standard 2500, if you think you may give in to curiosity one day, or feel brave enough to try now, get the 2500k and a decent cooler

If the game relies mostly on the CPU, then overclocking the CPU will help.
If the game relies mostly on the GPU, then overclocking the CPU won't help at all.

It all depends on which games you run. You will have to overclock your system and then try the games you normally play to see if performance improves.

Overclocking a CPU isn't strictly necessary. However, if it has effects that rely more on the CPU than GPU, and your CPU isn't fast enough, overclocking will help you to get better performance.

So, it's not really compulsory. Far from it, in fact. If you have a good enough CPU to start with, you'll never really HAVE to overclock. You might want to if you like keeping hold of them for a while, while keeping the best settings, however.
