No. However I always suggest just getting the best single graphics card you can afford. Then upgrade it down the road and sell the old one.
The problem with crossfire is a lot of times when you decide to get the second card, they are already discontinued and you will have to buy one used on ebay or something.
Usually you also will need to upgrade your power supply to add a second card.
Also if you dont have a very fast cpu, it wont keep up with 2 cards anyways.

I've been looking at these also. I do get what you are saying about cross firing. Too many things to consider
