Did you try going into the game's video settings? There may be an option to run windowed or full screen.

as said alt + enter if you mean the window isnt filling the whole screen

if you mean the edge has a thick black border on the left and right then its probably because the game doesnt support widescreen--my partner plays a lot of hidden object games and this happens all the time even though they are recent games
