Best Graphics Card on PD 820?

I currently have a 8500 GT but would like to upgrade my graphics card to get better FPS in games like CoD, L4D etc. I'm wondering whats the best upgrade i could get before i start having serious bottleneck issues. I'm running on an Intel Pentium D 2.8ghz (Dual Core). The resolution i play at is 1920x1200.

:O Wouldn't bother upgrading the GPU, upgrade the CPU. I actually think this is a joke post. No way the 8500GT and 820 will game at 1920x1200.

Well, 1920x1200 is kinda high.

So at least a Radeon 4850 and/or GTS 250.

It's not a joke post. I'd upgrade the CPU but i don't have the money for that right now. I have around $160 to spend on upgrading, just looking to upgrade the GPU and PSU if needed right now. I'll be building a new rig around the time DX11 cards come out which is why i'm not trying to spend a ton of money on this one.

the cpu will have to be replaced soon, but get 4870/4890 and after, work on a q9600

in the above case, get a 4870 1GB

Any chance you can get a 5200? Would run circles around that 820. If you already have DDR2 ram, you can spend $100 on a motherboard and other $60 on a cheap CPU. You'll still be stuck with that 8500GT, but at least you won't be bottlenecked by your 820.
