Hi guys, this is my 1st post.
I'm looking for a decent cpu cooler tht's around $40. I have E6550 and trying to oc @3.2GHZ. It's fail for now, because the temp is too high. (about 70') I was looking at websites and stuff and found out two coolers tht are affordable.

anyways, here's the question.
just the performance wise, which one is better?
dont care abt the price right now.
plz tell the pros and the cons for both of them if you can.

also, what is the difference between Freezer 7 Pro rev. 2 and the original(rev.1 i guess)?

Here is a link to a very good web site with a lot of information about cpu heatsinks that you might find useful:

I have the 9500 on a E6400 Oced to 3.2 and it works very well, I think it is better than the freezer 7 (but you can check that @ frosty as Johnny provided link) but I believe it also cost more. I got mine 1/2 price on sale at compusa.

W/the 9500 my idle temps are summer mid to upper 30s, and about 28->30 C for Winter. Max load winter about 50 C and 58 C for summer.

I had to modify the backing plate for my board (Gigabyte 965-DQ6) but knew that when I bought it.
