Protect files on flash drive

I would like to put several powerpoint programs on my usb flash drive and would like to make it difficult to remove them from the device. How do I protect the contents of the flash drive from being erased?

You may put a password on your USB Flash Drive.
Nobody would be able to access the data except you.
You may use TrueCrypt to add a password. http://www.truecrypt.org/

Put them in a folder and password protect it.
