compared to the normal 4850 and to my old 9400GT 512MB.

It has better cooling, quieter and does a good job of exhausting hot air out of the case then a stock HD4850 or most aftermarket type cooler 4850s.

But can your PSU feed it? And is your CPU fast enough? Specs, please.

It's one of the few 4850s I will recommend, for the very good reasons mentioned by Dirtmountain.

agreed with both of the above. it is one of the few 4850s that i see as well designed. (mostly with respect to the cooler). also if the rest of your system is on par with a 9400 there is a good chance the 4850 will be bottlenecked severely. great card for the price though especially if you OC it (can you say volt mod)

These IceQTurbo cards are great in my experiance, noticably faster than standard cards (and they OC a bit as well). But as said post rest of system and we can tell you if its worth it or not.
