buying an antec 1200 shortly with a 5870...

the 1200 has 9 internal drive bays which I intend to fully use over time...i thought I read that a 5870 will fit in the case, but might affect the use of one of the drive bay cages...

can anyone confirm? or can I safely use all drive bays AND still fit a 5870?

any help appreciated

It looks like you'll have to sacrifice use of some of the HDD bays with a 5870.
Check for yourself The "Official" Antec 1200 Club forum topic @ Overclock.net tons of pictures, some with 4870x2 and GTX 295 installed.

The ATI Radeon HD 5870 video card is a long one. I believe I read the overall length of the card is about 11 inches. As WR2 already pointed out you will probably have to leave the drive bay that lines up with the card empty.
